Operating System Setup

Kronodoc server installation consists of installing the operating system and Kronodoc infrastructure software. The recommended Linux version for Kronodoc 5.0 is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (“RHEL 5”). It is recommended to perform a full re-install when upgrading from an older release of Red Hat / Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Prerequisites for installation

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 installation media
Red Hat Network login and password
Kronodoc 5.0 infrastructure RPM (kronodoc40-rhel4-infra-5.rpm)
